I have enjoyed countless of rounds of chemin de fer. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have gambled on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. Given all that I have still lost all kinds of money at vingt-et-un. The gambling halls have made it almost impossible to defeat the game.
I still like the game and wager on a regular basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get flush with this tactic or defeat the house, nonetheless you will experience an abundance of fun. This tactic is founded on the idea that 21 appears to be a game of runs. When you are hot your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!
I bet with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I do not win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I do not win again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the bet back down to the original bet.
I am very strict and never back out. It gets very enjoyable at times. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your bets go up very fast. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had great streaks a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the MGM a number of years back with $750 after 45 minutes using this technique! And a number of weeks ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You need to understand that you can give away much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be surprised at the streaks you notice wagering this way. Below is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a five dollar table.
Wager 5 dollar
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the initial five dollar wager
Bet five dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Wager $10
Take $10 paid to you, leave the first ten dollar bet
Bet ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total wager of $20
Wager $20
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the initial twenty dollar bet
Wager twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Wager forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 40 dollar wager
Wager $40
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Wager eighty dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the initial $80 wager
Bet 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 160 dollar bet
If you departed at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can’t alter and lower your wager or the final result won’t be the same.
